Hi and welcome to 23YearOldFreshman.com! This blog is created and written by a 23 year old college freshman currently attending a state university in Michigan.

I want to bring all of the students out there who may be older than their peers, whether it be five years in my situation or a 30 year age gap of a baby boomer heading back to school to get a degree. There are certain things that happen differently for us, and words of wisdom and life experience that we can share to help make the decision and experience of going back to school easier for others considering the idea.

Getting an education will not only increase your earnings power, but can also boost self esteem and provide a sense of achievement that could benefit many other areas of your life.
